1:1 Coaching
Your voice, your wellbeing, or both at once — my full attention either way. No group to keep pace with and no curriculum you have to fit inside. We start from whatever is actually in the way and work on that.
Two paths
Take one, or take both
Most people arrive wanting one and discover the other was underneath it all along. You don't have to decide before we start.
The voice
Vocal Embodiment & Empowerment
Learning to sing in your own voice, not somebody else's — and finding confidence and self-love along the way. Breath, tone, range and expression, yes, but the real work is usually undoing something: a held jaw, a held breath, a held opinion about what you're allowed to sound like.
The whole picture
Holistic Wellness & Lifestyle Coaching
Mind, body and spirit support and guidance, with active listening and practical solutions for optimal health. Food and your relationship with it, rhythms and routines, what your body is asking for, and the common threads running underneath the thing you came in about.
How it works
Three things happen in a first session
The same shape whichever path you're on — only the material changes.
-
I listen
You sing something you already know, or you tell me how the last month has actually been. I'm not judging it — I'm listening for where the air goes, where you brace, and what you do the moment you think you've made a mistake.
-
We find the one thing
There's almost always a single habit underneath four apparent problems. We name it out loud so you can hear it too, and then we start changing it while you're still in the room.
-
You leave with a practice
Two or three specific things, ten minutes a day. Not a folder of exercises you'll never open, and not a regime you'll abandon by Thursday. If you do the ten minutes, the next session starts somewhere new.
What we work on
Bring me whatever you've got
In the voice work
Technique
Breath support, placement, resonance, registration and the passaggio, stamina, range extension, and getting through a two-hour set without losing the top of your voice.
Repertoire
Song choice that suits your actual voice, key and arrangement decisions, phrasing, dynamics, and building a set that has a shape instead of just an order.
Performance
Nerves, mic technique, what to do with your hands, and how to keep singing when something goes wrong — which it will, and which nobody notices unless you tell them.
Writing & the studio
Finding melodies that sit where your voice is strongest, tracking vocals without losing the take you meant, and comping without sanding off the thing that made it good.
Getting unstuck
For singers who are technically fine and still not satisfied. Usually this is about permission rather than practice, and it's some of my favorite work.
Starting from zero
Never sung in front of anyone. Want to, badly. Terrified. You are extremely welcome here, and you are not the first.
In the wellness work
Food & nourishment
Shifting your relationship with food and nutrition, built on years in the personal chef and healthy catering world. Not a meal plan to fail at — a way of eating that fits the life you actually have.
Rhythm & lifestyle
Sleep, movement, rest, the shape of a week. What you're carrying that isn't yours, and what you've stopped doing that used to keep you well.
Plants & the garden
Herbalism, gardening and permaculture as part of a wellness practice — what to grow, what to make, and what to take. The apothecary is one part of this, not the whole of it.
Body, mind & spirit
Balance between the three, and seeing the whole picture rather than the loudest symptom. Drawn from travels, shamanic training, and a good deal of lived experience.
Creative embodiment
Waking up through making something. Sovereign living and wild feminine wisdom, for anyone who suspects there's more of them in there than they are currently using.
Seasons of life
Motherhood, birth, grief, and the thresholds in between — I've held space for a lot of them. If you're standing at one, you don't have to stand there by yourself.
Coaching is not medical care, therapy or crisis support, and nothing here replaces your doctor or midwife. If what you need is clinical, I'll say so.
In their words
“Katt has an incredible ear for music, especially when it comes to pitch and melody. But beyond that, she has a deep understanding of the emotional and spiritual layers of singing. She helped me navigate these aspects in a way that was both grounding and transformative. The first time I ever sang in front of anyone, I felt incredibly anxious and vulnerable, but Katt held such a warm and welcoming space for me. Her presence and encouragement gave me the confidence to step through that fear and truly express myself. I'm so grateful for her guidance and support!”

Rates
A sliding scale, and you choose where you sit
$60 to $150 an hour. Not three different services — one session, one range, and you pick the number.
Nearer $60
If money is genuinely the thing standing between you and this work. You don't have to prove it, explain it, or have a conversation about it — you just pick the number and we get on with the session.
Nearer $150
If you can pay it without giving up something you'd miss. You're not buying a better session; there isn't one. You're the reason the bottom of the scale can stay where it is.
Most people land somewhere in the middle, and nobody is ever asked to justify where. Choose honestly, tell me once, and we won't discuss money again.
Two things that move the number
How long we sit
Sessions run from 60 up to 120 minutes. An hour is plenty for focused work on one thing. Ninety minutes or two hours suits deeper sessions — and most holistic wellness work, where the first twenty minutes is usually just arriving.
How many you book
The more you book, the less each one costs — off whatever number you picked, not off some other list.
- One session — your rate
- A block of four — around 7% less each
- Ongoing, monthly — around 13% less each
A share rather than a flat amount, so the discount is proportional to what you're paying. At the top of the scale that's $10 and $20 off; lower down it's less, because there is less room down there.
Payment plans exist for any of it. If the rate is still the only thing stopping you, say so — that is exactly what the bottom of the scale is for.
Let's begin
Ask about a first session
Tell me where you're at and what you're working toward. I'll come back with times, the rate for what you've chosen, and an honest opinion about whether I'm the right person.
Before you ask
Questions
Can I do both the voice work and the wellness work?
Yes, and plenty of people end up doing exactly that. We don't have to split them into separate sessions either — how you breathe, how you sleep and how you sound are not separate subjects, whatever the categories on this page suggest.
Online or in person?
Both work. Online is Zoom, and it's genuinely fine for voice work — I've taught almost entirely this way for years. In person is available around Southwest Florida.
Are you a doctor, a therapist, or a nutritionist?
No. I'm a coach, and what I bring is years of practice with food, plants, voice and holding space, not a clinical licence. I'll work alongside whatever care you're already under, and if something needs a doctor or a therapist I'll tell you plainly rather than take the session.
How often should I come?
Every two weeks suits most people. Weekly if you're preparing for something with a date on it. Monthly works only if you're reliable in between, because the sessions stop compounding otherwise.
What if I have to cancel?
Give me 24 hours and we'll move it, no charge. Less than that and the session is used — not to be strict, just because the time was held for you.
How old do I need to be?
Any age — youth to elder. I've worked with children who can't sit still and with people who came to singing in their seventies, and the work is the same work. Sessions for younger singers run shorter, and a parent is welcome to sit in.
Do you only teach one style?
No. The mechanics of a voice are the same whatever it's singing, and I'd rather help you sound more like yourself in your genre than push you toward mine.
